  • Tony Wai

    CEO

    Tony hails from a long and successful background in the healthcare sector. He was Interim CEO and GM Corporate Services with ProCare Health, New Zealand’s largest primary healthcare provider. Prior to that, Tony spent many years with Atlantis Healthcare Group, as Group COO NZ Managing Director. His previous experience was in the manufacturing sector with some of New Zealand's best-known brand where he held senior finance, operations, and advisory roles. Tony holds a number of advisory and governance roles relating to the disability sector, health IT and health consulting.

  • Dr Balram Dhillon

    Principal | Doctor

    RNZCGP, MBBS, BSC (Diagnostic Radiology)

    Dr Balram Dhillon is a consultant General Practitioner who brings over 16 years working in health including specialist age care experience.  Balram has found his passion working with the older population, predominantly in Aged Care. Challenged clinically with the complexities of what his patients are experiencing, he feels privileged that he can use his skills and knowledge to improve their health experience. Balram’s specialist areas of interest are pain management, palliative care and minor surgeries. He believes our elders deserve the best care in their most vulnerable years and Balram is proud that Hub Aged Care can help provide this.

    Balram speaks multiple languages fluently including English, Hindi, Punjabi, Indonesian and Bahasa melayu.

  • Anneke Barkwith

    Principal | Nurse Practitioner

    Anneke Barkwith is a Nurse Practitioner who specialises in Aged Care. Her experience across Palliative Care and Aged Care services have given her a passion for health of the older person, from independent living through to end of life care. She has presented at national conferences about Aged Care and Dementia Care with a desire to instil enthusiasm in other clinicians about high quality care for our older generation. Anneke’s strengths lie in her communication, clinical decision making and knowledge about the unique experience of transitioning into a residential facility.  She has a strong link with other specialist services and has set up clinical initiatives to improve care between Aged Care, hospital services and hospice. 

The Hub Aged Care Leadership team works closely with a dedicated team of clinicians practicing in care homes across the Wellington region.  Hub Aged Care is also supported by the wider clinical and operational leadership team at Third Age Health.  Learn more about the Third Age Team here
